Once you understand central sensitization, so much of the self blame starts to fall away. The body isn’t being dramatic or weak. It’s adapting. It’s learning pain the same way it learns anything else through repetition. When that’s the case, “pushing through” doesn’t build strength, it just keeps the loop going. That shift in understanding changes everything about how people treat themselves, which is why this piece of the conversation matters so much.
