Another great piece and it rings more bells with me than a campanologist.

So honest and indeed guilt plays a very big part in living with a chronic condition like our Fibromyalgia.

I have taken a while to get used to the idea that it will always be me who has to change plans, decline invitations, be unable to have a glass of wine, coffee, be cold when everyone else is warm ( and vice versa).

I have come to terms with it now but there are days when I just get so annoyed at having to compromise with even the simple things.

Thank you so much for this. The campanologist line genuinely made me smile. The guilt can be relentless, especially when you’re always the one adjusting, declining, or missing out. Even when we’ve made some kind of peace with it, those flashes of frustration still show up. I really appreciate you sharing this so honestly, it’s such a powerful reminder that we’re not alone in these feelings.
