About Me
As someone living with fibromyalgia, writing has always been both a lifeline and a risk. Every sentence carries the weight of pain, fatigue, and brain fog—but it also carries hope. Hope that maybe, somewhere out there, someone will read these words and feel a little less alone. That’s what keeps me coming back to the page, even when everything hurts.
What I didn’t expect was that telling the truth—really telling it—comes with its own quiet cost. Not just emotionally, but practically. It takes time, energy, mental clarity I don’t always have, and yes, the kind of support that makes space for the writing to happen at all. Publishing, promoting, even carving out a quiet hour to type through the fog—it all asks something from a body that’s already overdrawn.
I’m not writing for money. I never have. I write because stories rooted in pain, resilience, and real life matter—and because too often, voices like ours are the ones left out. The unmarketable ones. The complicated ones. The ones that don’t dress themselves up to fit in a headline.
So if you’ve ever found something here that helped you breathe a little easier, feel a little more seen, or just reminded you that you’re not the only one struggling—thank you. That’s more than enough.
But if you do feel moved to support this work—whether by sharing it, subscribing, or tipping a few dollars into the “Buy Me a Coffee” jar—please know that you’re not just funding a story. You’re helping build a space where truth is safe to tell. A space where people like us don’t have to hide what hurts.
Your support, in any form, says:
Keep going. We’re still listening.
And that means more than you know.
